lapis lazuli contains several minerals giving its classic blue, gold, cream, white colours, this piece has lovely rich blues and a band of golden pyrite inclusions with a little white calcite.

Lapis origiantes from Afghanistan in one particular area although the colour, pattern and appearance of inclusions can vary from site to site. From a crystal healing spiritual perspective lapis lazuli is associated with the higher vibrational energy centres or chakras of the body, aiding communication and enhancing ones spiritual awareness.
